What People's Say About Place

Interesting flavors. I love that they let you sample any flavor. I got a single scoop split with 2 flavors in a fresh waffle cone. Coconut cake & pineapple jam (so so good, but it's ending soon) and coffee & love nuts (so good too). I sampled the strawberry Balsamic & black pepper and pear with Bleu cheese, these were tasty too. If you go here, expect to wait in line, we waited about 20 minutes. I'll def come back.

Shout out to this wonderful ice cream parlor the flavors are amazing and they let you taste as much as you would like. I was double charged on my receipt and I was wondering why my bill was so expensive. It was a hot day. I called in and let them know I was double charged. I didn't wanna go back because I was tired but when I got back, not only did they give me a refund. They gave me three hand pack flavors of their wonderful ice cream and they gave me sprinkles for my little one I was shocked once again I didn't wanna go back. It was like 100° today and I wanted to go home. I had ice cream in the bag that had melted. They refunded everything. Treat shout out to this young lady in the photo. I don't know her name but her customer service is excellent for above that I even expected. Thank you young lady for your hospitality. May you go far in the business Pamela

Ice cream shop with non-traditional and seasonal flavors. Slightly pricey for scoops in my opinion, but they are sized well. You are allowed to sample any flavor you would like, and my personal favorite is the cinnamon snickerdoodle. Their limited time Chocolate Taco came with a waffle shell taco coated with chocolate, cinnamon ice cream, wildberry sauce, and jalapeño mango sauce all for $7.95. The taco size was extremely disappointing and the cinnamon ice cream was overwhelmed by the sweetness of the chocolate on the shell. The sauces added interesting flavors, but I would only try the Taco for the experience – I would never get it again.

Just know that at night when I fall asleep I dream of that ooey gooey brownie. I live in a far away land for college and I dream of returning to the land of salt and straw for this. Gimme that ooey gooey brownie mmm I don’t care if it’s technically chocolate gooey brownie it’s funnier to say ooey gooey and I know it’s not just me I hear those Tik Tokers getting it wrong don’t mess around with the indie flavors don’t beat around the bush just gimme that ooey gooey brownie yum the ooey gooey brownie is my Roman Empire please enjoy all the pictures of it I’ve captured in its wonderful glory over the years thanks

Packed for a Saturday 10PM. Two of us ordered: double scoop $8.50 single scoop $6.75 split scoop $0.50 Staff was friendly. Came by after eating at LB Steak. Line took a bit longer to churn through than other Salt and Straws. I don't believe there was any seating inside, some seating outside.

Salt & Straw in San Ramon is always a cool stop. The staff here are super friendly and patient, especially if you come on a weekday when it’s not packed — way more relaxed than weekend rush. The classic flavors are solid and consistent, while the rotating seasonal specials are hit or miss… but when they hit, they really hit. The vibe is casual and fun, perfect for a quick treat with friends or family. Prices are on the higher side for ice cream, but the quality and creativity make it worth the occasional splurge.

Amazing ice cream shop within the city center at bishop ranch. As you can see from photos, they get crowded quickly but the efficient staff is all about efficiency. Love the flavors and aroma inside this cute shop. Recommend!!

A friend recommended this place while we were in town. It's in a cute outdoor mall. The staff was friendly and patient while we sampled flavors we've never seen anywhere else. The husband chose strawberry honey balsamic w/ black pepper. That was not to my liking, but he loved it. I finally chose the pear blue cheese -- not something I would have thought I'd like, but it was amazing. I'm glad we followed her recommendation to go here. Come and give it a try.
